Doors open at 11 am, and there will be plenty of time to catch up with old friends.  The formal part of the meeting, the AGM, is very quick, and after a curry buffet lunch our member Dr Christine Nicholls, Author, and Historian, will talk to us about Extraordinary Characters in East African History.  Dr Nicholls grew up in Kenya and attended KHS before coming to the UK to University.  She is a former editor of the Dictionary of National Biography and manages the Europeans in East Africa database and website.
