We had a very well attended Spring Lunch and AGM on 24th March at the Victory Services Club at Marble Arch. Over 60 members and guests joined us to enjoy an excellent curry lunch followed by a talk by Hugh Cran, who worked as a veterinary surgeon in Kenya for over fifty years and had many a hilarious tale to tell. Hugh was well known to many of the attendees having been their vet in Kenya. There were books, cards and Marion’s wonderful range of East African wares on sale.
